There’s many hopes that this new year of 2017 will bring out the best in all of us. Many people have plans for what they want to do and achieve.

“Cut off the people that distracted you last year and focus on yourself more,” sophomore Malik Taylor said.

Sometimes you just need to forget about all the negative things going on around you, and focus on the more important things.

“I’m going to spend time with the people that matter the most to me, like my family and friends,” junior Jennifer Cuenca said.

You should always make good choices with your time because it’s very limited. Find something new to do to keep you occupied or entertained.

“Getting a job can keep you busy, but you’re making money in the end,” sophomore Vanessa Rangel said.

Going to more school events can help with your grade performance and will keep you focused on the important things.

“I’m going to try and go to more tutorials and pay better attention instead of putting my outside of school activities first,” junior Brooke Wofford said.
